Going on a Scavenger Hunt Online

Article by Joe Brennan

The main entertainment of this Social Meeting was a Scavenger Hunt for prizes which Mary Rogren and Rene Lewis had organized and conducted to our amusement. Scoring was based on one’s speed in bringing the item to the screen within the one minute allotted. Also the most unique or funninest article in each round counted for points as well.

Examples of the Scavenger Hunt instructions were to find:
Something Red - a red beer can won this round
Something Sharp - knives appeared
Something Fuzzy - we saw multiple cats
Something that makes a Noise - some cats again
Something with Hair-                                  “
Something that Moves-                 “
Something that Tastes
Something Stinky
Etc.

A good time was had by all.  For the wi...

And from the Scavenger Hunt Master, Renee - the winners were:

Warren – 1st place and most original item – dreadlocks – won a superbowl shirt and some cooking sauces

Ralph, Kevin, and Krystlynn tied for 2nd place – won wine, wine, and a candle

Stacy had the most rotary magazines (a huge stack) and the most rotary pins (a huge box) and won a rotary windshield visor and apron

(I don’t remember what happened after that.)

Club Meeting - February 18, 2021

President Mary called the meeting to order.

Happy/Crappy News yescrying

Our Social began on the subject of Golf with members sharing real and imagined gossip and stories, a good and mirthful start to our Social. One amazing report from Ralph was of a fellow named Burke(?) who recently shot his age, 87, again which is rare and admirable!

Kevin gave an account of visiting Barterra Winery’s newly opened curbside parklet, saying it was nice especially when traffic is backed up and crawling not roaring by at speed. Kevin also reported that he and Deb made and delivered sandwiches to Abundant Grace which were warmly welcomed and appreciated.

EJ and Rose reported on their delivery of the eight monthly bags to families in our project with Coastside Hope and shared some photos which included Claudio and Violeta of CH.

Conversation dwelled on Covid Vaccinations; Dianne and Bo got thier second shots today, Steve and Kathy got their first shots today, Joe got his 1st on Tuesday, etc.

Our upcoming March 4th wine tasting Fundraiser with Barterra Winery was announced and an email detailing plans and contacts has been sent to all members:
