Ginger and Dave starting their set......and......Hangin with Wes and Sloopy

No extensive notes today--just a few highlights from the Karaoke fest:  Wes Burgess had us rocking out with "Hang on Sloopy" (me thinks he's been practicing) and "Twist & Shout", one of my all time fav tunes, was masterfully handled by Kevin and the Daves and Eric. Kendall's version of "Heatwave" was amazing,  Several others joined in the fun and none made us groan. Thank you to Irwin for arranging today's entertainment and to Joey Karyobi the DJ--terrific Karaoke!

And that perennial crowd favorite - YMCA!

Heatwave!                     The BOY BAND Singers    Talk about SMOKIN!!

Then there was the Cowboy Fishing Co - Thank you also to everyone at Cowboy Fishing Co. for their hospitality. Dianne and Melissa McGuirk hit it out of the ballpark with this one. They had been talking about doing this since last fall before it opened.
If you haven't been there yet, add it to your "must dine there" list.  The decor is somewhere between industrial and cowboy chic, it's a light-filled comfortable space with great ambiance.  Their brewery is on display, front and center, behind the ample bar.  The food was as advertised--fresh, simply prepared and delicious.  I had the salmon on a bed of kale, the dressing was amazingly light and balanced.  Judging by the empty plates as we left, everyone else's lunch was as fantastic as mine.
