Program: Artimus Rudder Is A Nutter
This is one easy journalistic assignment because no matter what I write it could have come out of Artimus’ mouth…or should have, like the Subject line. (Program title).
Member Irwin Cohen introduced “The Expert”, Artimus Rudder who launched his intro video starring the North American River Otter.
He claims to be an expert of applied reverse logic and bragged of reading books published in 65 countries!
He requested a standing ovation for everyone in the room and for his intro video.
Listen up he said and you twill earn more money while you sleep and learn how to live alone on a two family income!
Shake it out, listen up and you will become smarter than you ever thought possible!
Are you yourself or are you incorporated?
Seek integration with yourself and your higher self!

Seek integration with yourself and your higher self!
He outlined the things he believes in:
B - Believe in yourself
O - Own your actions
N - Now is the time (shake out past)
E - Educate & execute - Path of knowledge
R - Remember not to Judge, we are here to help each other out
"BONER? Whoops that’s not the acronym I had in mind!, let’s try that again:"
R - Redefine yourself
E - Educate yourself
B - Believe in yourself
O - Own yourself
R - Remember yourself
N - Now is the time
REBORN, that’s more like it!
Are you wearing a watch? Does it tell you the correct time? Wind it!
It is time to start your new life! Time to stop beating yourself!
He asks everyone to remove their watch, he removes his and starts beating it with a mallet.
He passes the mallet for everyone to heat their own watch, then passes a plastic bag around to put your watches in so he can sell your watches on the street for a "good cause"
But focus on the North American River Otter who is known for nothing if not PLAYFULNESS!
The NA River Otter is an omnivore who prefers crustaceans. Make great house pets, kids over three can be left alone with river otters.
Develop your self like he did. "I’m from West Virginia where I lived in the hills from ages1 to 6 after which I went to school. We saw old Ned walking by the one room school house carrying two bags of potatoes. All the kids heckled him by peer pressure. Ned Cried since his wife’s wooden lag had recently spread to the rest of her body.”
Nutrition is the key to your Higher Self. Artimus doesn’t butter his Cheesecake anymore. Don’t eat modified wheat (he stayed in a motel and slept near a bible)
GMO wheat gluten is changing DNA, he knows because he saw a dog with knobs…
Dr Cohen began as a Brain Surgeon and worked his way down to feet and is now well grounded!
JUICING, Who Juices? Unlock your higher self!
Nurturing Love should continue: Love Yourself, Love you child, Love your neighbor!
Process of Life & Death: Money can’t buy happiness, its love! Add you wallets to the bag going around the room for watch collection - it all goes to Artimus’ “Good Cause”
Never say Never, do not be discouraged! Global warning will result in Polar Bears in San Francisco but they will be hard to see in the fog
There are more important matters like The Moon is missing a chunk!
You are second guessing yourself if you listen to the voices - BELIVE IN YOUR FIRST REACTION!
Otters mate for life, unlike you here!
Juice for life, Juice man gives 96% - Ordered Juice man to juice off TV
Mark Twain - Saying good things for a living
YOU SUCK, Parents so dumb@ 17, so sweet 4 years later so locked in basement…quoted Mark Twain “You Suck” = nutrition order screwed up; Juiceman sent live cells, live food!
Parsley in a puppet contains trillions of phytonutrients
Mel Ott wore an otter pelt on his head and was paid to play a children’s game
Assisted Living, do it while you are young. Went to visit his parents and was gone for 20 years!
Don’t confuse Beaver with Otter! Otters are playful while beavers are angry, one bit him and he bled out but they love to play checkers and cards at the same time using their tails
Unleash you Inner Otter! (your inner playfulness)
Don’t pass out face down in the gutter, do it face up! (his advice)
What Medication? Aspirin for ticker, vegan diet with fist size additives.
Two mice, Christopher Walken story
- Bob Rubin (check him out, he’s on line @rubetime.com, bananaland etc.)

May 19, 2016 Meeting Recap
Article by Dianne Bobko

Greeters
Joe Brennan read quotes from Abraham Lincoln for our Inspirational Thought. John Evans led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Visitors/Guests
John and Marcia Traversaro were back to visit from their home on the mid-coast. They are very active in the Pismo Beach Club. It was nice to have them here. Irwin Cohen introduced his guest John Porter. Joe Brennan had Joe Gordon Wilsey, who was a photographer for National Geographic and whose photos were on display at the Odd Fellow's Hall when we had our Christmas lunch there. His father was a Rotarian. Larkin Evans was a guest of her husband, John.
Happy/Crappy News
Liz Schuck suggested that everyone might want to watch the movie, The Letters, which is about Mother Teresa. She thought is was wonderful.
Dianne Bobko just returned from Kennedy Space Center in Florida where she and Bo attended the Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction and Scholarship Fundraiser. She mentioned how amazing the scholars are and that the first Astronaut Scholar, Christina Hammock, to be selected to be an Astronaut gave a keynote at the Gala.
John Evans recounted his fun adventure with grandson Joey at the Rocking Jumb in San Carlos. Urged on by Joey, Grandpa John went on to demonstrate a few Purposes (from his former days as a gymnast). So John is claiming fame at 70 as the oldest person doing Porposes
Dave Andrews had a call from former District 5150 DG Eric Schmautz. He had a water problem and called Dave. Good networking, Dave!

Announcements
Pres Dave read the following email from Dick Charnock:
"Dave, Ginger, Dianne and all Rotarians - I don’t have everyone’s e-mail address, but I wanted to send this to you knowing that you will pass along to all the Rotarians, my gratitude for the cards and good wishes from you all. I have often wondered what it would be like to have an automobile run over your foot or your leg and now I know, but alas, I hadn’t expected to find out firsthand. Surgery went well and all hardware is firmly in place. We have all heard how hard it is to teach old dogs new tricks, and I can attest to the fact that it is true. Trying to restructure a very structured work environment for a person who is a control freak, who now has to work from a bed rather than on office where everything is at hand, is a nightmare. I am learning to adapt albeit slowly. I guess the good thing is that I am beginning to see that I do not have to be in the office for 12 hours every day to have things continue, (probably better), but it is a difficult pill to swallow. It will be a few weeks before I can become a little more mobile, but I wanted to be sure you all know how much I appreciated getting your cards and phone calls. It’s a good thing we don’t have any dances scheduled for a while.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts."
