Warren nagged one and all in person as opposed to the blizzard of emails we've been receiving. He also coached us on luring friends and family into servitude. Nag nag nag.... There was a significant amount of whining about costs, despite the fact that he caged many donations and discounts... More nagging...

Details were provided on where/when to show up. Warren also provided other helpful information like the fact that there will be whips to keep the rabble (the Rotarian rabble, that is) in line. The soup will contain gluten, clams, pesticides and hairnets. Alert Warren when the Health Dept. shows up, so he can escape. Admonitions to change gloves weekly and other health tips were shared.  Teamwork and a myriad of details were committed to memory, the recipe is a secret, only disclosed to those who need to know.

Pumpkin pie fudge will be served at the Oddfellows Lodge during the festival.  Others attempted to share information on the offerings of other organizations only to be cut off at the knees by our fearless leader. Although a pact with the pumpkin pie ice cream booth was considered.

Warren has a list and is checking it constantly.  He was reminded he has half a shift in his own  household...  Liz is bringing morning coffee and donuts.  Warren's barking is for our own good, it supports our treasury. More nagging and details...

It should be noted, as Irwin pointed out, having the incoming President manage the Chowder Booth effort is a tradition established several years ago to give the President-elect the opportunity to make the most of the fundraiser that adds substantially to his or her budget. It also  gives the club the opportunity to see what we're in for next year and, speaking as a Past-President, it shows the President-Elect the kind of support our club is capable of; all one needs to do is ask.
