It’s a beautiful sunny day on the Coastside, Rotarians and their guests stepped out of their quarantine quarters, took a breath of fresh air and gathered together to celebrate 50 years of Half Moon Bay Rotary Club.
Our first order of business was to announce the district awards we earned. We won 7 out of 9 awards! Here is the detail:
Best Club – by attaining 1800 Merit Points or more from all the service categories; we reached 2,170!

In addition to enjoying a delicious lunch—and some great HMB Brew Pub beer, several members shared their best Rotary experiences. The reminiscing ran the gauntlet from original members like Bob Rathborne and Dave Cresson to newer members like Krystlyn and our two newest members, Sean and Zoe.
The best part of the event was seeing everyone in person, visiting with one another and celebrating with one another.
