04 Jul 2023 4th of July Parade Jul 04, 2023 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM July 4 Parade and social in Half Moon Bay Please join us at 10:30am as we line up for the parade. We have a decorated truck and our large club banner, our Lobsterfest banner, and the signs that tell what we do in this community. We are counting on you helping us to share the good news about our club!! Afterwards, please stay for a social at Barterra Winery. Ginger and son Chris have generously given us the use of the Wine Lounge. We will have snacks and dessert, and of course, there is wine (for a fee). You're also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

19 Aug 2023 Rotary Club Half Moon Bay Magic of the Coastside Aug 19, 2023 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM COME JOIN THE FUN AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHILE DOING SO!! The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay is hosting its annual Foundation fundraiser, Magic of the Coastside at the IDES Hall in Half Moon Bay on August 19, 2023. This year’s event is “Lobsterfest” catered by the New England Lobster Company. The club’s Foundation raises money to support projects throughout the community with this year’s special Fund A Need focused on supporting the Memory Care Unit at Coastside Adult Day Health Center (CADHC). CADHC has been an active part of the community for the past forty-one years serving the frail, elderly and disabled. Their mission is to keep people as healthy, active, and independent as possible, when advancing years or physical/mental conditions call for extra care and attention. The staff has identified a specific need for memory care supplies to enhance the quality of life the approximately fifty percent of their 250 participants living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. CADHC has found that the use of robotic pets and memory care games in multiple languages can have a profound impact on their well-being. Our goal is to purchase these important tools and we need your help to do so!
